Grand Chimera

Grand Chimera

Grand Chimera is a multi-purpose, electric, hybrid aerial vehicle of aircraft type with vertical take-off and landing with a carrying capacity of up to 10 kg. The device is able to take off and land both as a helicopter and as an airplane, and hang in the air if necessary.

A feature of this vehicle is a two-beam arrangement with the payload – a gyro-stabilized optical station, diagnostic equipment, repeater or combat load exactly in the center of mass under the center section. In this case, the payload can have significant overall dimensions.

The Grand Chimera has fully digital/network architecture of control and communications system providing the transmission of high-resolution video with minimum delay. The network architecture allows a grouping of vehicles to work in a unified network, interacting with each other, as well as with other ground and surface systems.
