Chimera is a multi-purpose, electric, hybrid aerial vehicle of aircraft type with vertical take-off and landing. The device is able to take off and land both as a helicopter and as an airplane, and hang in the air if necessary.
A feature of this vehicle is locating the payload – a gyro-stabilized optical station, diagnostic equipment, repeater or combat load exactly in the center of mass in a protected compartment.
The Chimera has fully digital/network architecture of control and communications system providing the transmission of high-resolution video with minimum delay. The network architecture allows a grouping of vehicles to work in a unified network, interacting with each other, as well as with other ground and surface systems.
